Combichrist is an international EBM band fronted by the main composer Andy LaPlague. As of 2011, they have released five studio albums --- The Joy of Gunz (2003), Everybody Hates You (2005), What the F@*** is Wrong With You People? (2007), Today We Are All Demons (2009) and Making Monsters (2010) and a number of EPs. Combichrist found crossover sucess with their 2003 single "This S*** Will F*** You Up" from "Everybody Hates You." Their music spans from pure EBM and aggro-tech to ballads and glitch.
Aesthetic Perfection, formed by Daniel Graves in 2000, has released three studio albums on various labels as of 2011. Their 2005 debut, Close to Human, was well received, but their second album, A Violent Emotion, garnered international success in 2009 with the success of two singles "The Great Depression" and "Living the Wasted Life." While the principal composer is Daniel Graves, the band often features other talent such as Ben Arp from C/A/T (Chaos and Terror).
Grendel is a Dutch EBM / Industrial band fronted by VLRK. After a self-released EP, Grendel found fame with the 2005 Soilbleed EP. Both the title track and the wildly popular cover of club classic "Zombie Nation" propelled Grendel's career on Noitekk records. The 2009 full-length Harsh Generation featured popular singles Harsh Generation and Hate This. Grendel is known for creative use of samples as as rhythmic elements, weaving samples into choruses and verses as lyrics.
Fronted by by Der Doktor of Artz+Pfusch and supported by pAn of pAn and the G9 Slug, Mommy Hurt My Head released their eponymous in 2009. Their unique mixture of modern EBM styling with early '90s structure has propelled them to success opening with seminal act Leather Strip in their home country of Denmark.
American horror / EBM act ninetwelve released their debut album American Zombie in 2009 on Lukotyk Records. The single "C**hog" was a notorious East coast club staple that led to the release of the full-length album. The release Mother of Darkness, a musical tribute to the works of Dario Argento, cemented ninetwelve as the most successful horror-themed EBM act to date.
