How to Become a Newsboys Fan
The Newsboys, a Christian band from Australia, has been together for since 1985. They're known for catchy lyrics and an energizing sound, most noticeable in songs like "Shine" and "He Reigns," so it's not hard to become a fan. You certainly won't be alone -- there are many fan sites and clubs for Newsboys fans on line. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences recognized the Newsboys with four Grammy nominations, most recently in 2003. In 2009, Peter Furler stepped down as lead singer and Michael Tait, formerly of DC Talk, took his place. In 2010, the Newsboys put out their first album with Tait as the lead singer.

Listen to Newsboys music by finding them on line or by purchasing their songs or CDs. Some of their music will be in music stores, but you may have to look in Christian book stores as well.

Head out to a Newsboys concert. They're usually pretty clean events, but they can still get rowdy, so wear comfortable clothes. Go to Christian music festivals or special events at theme parks to hear the Newsboys live.
