How to Make a Shirt for The Price Is Right

If you are looking to make an impression on The Price Is Right, show your enthusiasm by creating your very own The Price Is Right T-shirt. Many contestants and audience members wear shirts they've decorated that focus on The Price Is Right show, the show's host Drew Carey, or the individual games played on the show.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a plain T-shirt to place your design on. The color of shirt you choose is important. White shirts, with lots of color in the design, look great. Dark shirts will require white lettering, and green shirts should be avoided at all costs to avoid blending in with any green screens used on the set. Your shirt needs to look good on television, so it needs to stand out.

    • 2

Plan your shirt design on paper. Get ideas for your shirt by watching to see what current contestants are wearing, but make sure your shirt is original.

    • 3

Decide how you are going to put your design on the shirt. You can create your own iron-on transfers or use fabric paints.

    • 4

Consider what wording you might want on the shirt. Cute slogans, like "Drew's Crew" or "Mega Price is Right Fan" draw attention and are a great idea. If you have a group, use the theme for the entire group. Remember that any words on the shirt need to be big enough to see on camera.

Next up is where to put the design and the words. Nothing should be just below the front shoulders (on either side) as that is where the big ID tag goes. Also, you need to make sure your hair won't cover anything that might be on the shirt.
