How to Win David Letterman Tickets

Everyone has seen the Late Show with David Letterman on t.v. at least once. You can count on Letterman to have the most sought-after celebrities to come on his show. If you are in New York, you can actually have the opportunity be a member of the audience on a live recording of the show!

Getting the tickets is generally easy, as long as you are willing to put a little bit of effort into it. Here's how you can soon be watching one of the best comedians and talk-show hosts in America!

Instructions

Go here to see the various ways of how you can apply for tickets: http://lateshow.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/show_info/tickets/ You can fill out a form on the Internet, or you can apply in person. If you decide to do this on short notice, you will have to call the stand-by phone line at 11:00AM on the day of the taping - I don't recommend this. We are going to do this through the Internet.

Go here to fill out a ticket form: http://lateshow.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/show_info/tickets/form/ Read all that's written on the left-hand side of the page before filling out the form. To better your chances, have the person you are going with fill out a form, as well. For example, if you are John, that will be your primary ticket, and Jessica would be your guest. Have Jessica fill out a form for herself, and you as her guest. To further better your chances, put all different dates - do not apply for the same dates. Try to apply for dates in the middle of the week - you have a better shot at getting tickets on Monday or Tuesday than Friday or Saturday.

After you have completed the form, you must wait for the call. The call can come at anytime, starting with the day after you've filled out the form, to the day of the taping. So be prepared! By be prepared, I mean brush up on your David Letterman facts.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART TO SECURING TICKETS! In order to win tickets, you must CORRECTLY answer a random trivia question about the show when you are called. The best way to do this is to actually watch the show - you can see many recordings on YouTube. However, if this is not enough, go to the following link: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/235898/the_trivia_game_is_the_ticket_to_the.html?cat=2 Go to the second page and study all the links that are provided. I have provided more links below with example questions and answers, so be sure to check them out! The last link on the bottom is a little quiz, so quiz yourself to make sure you are ready.

Print out trivia sheets, and keep them with you at all times. The questions can be tough, and you must answer correctly. The question I was asked was, "Who is Rupert G?" Fairly easy, if you have brushed up on your trivia.

If you succeed, you will have answered the question correctly and scored two tickets to the show! Congratulations, enjoy your view from the audience!
