The show is widely popular with audiences, who get to see some of the biggest names in entertainment perform. The tickets are in great demand, but fans have a couple of different options to see this show live.

Instructions

  1. Enter the Lottery

    • 1

In August, send an e-mail to [email protected]. Only one e-mail entry is allowed per household. Be sure to include all of your contact information, but do not include a requested date.

    • 2

If you are chosen you will be notified by NBC, "Saturday Night Live" or their affiliates. You will receive two tickets to the show for a random show date, chosen by NBC and "SNL" staff.

    • 3

Please note that entering the lottery does not guarantee you will be chosen to receive tickets, in which case you may want to try for standby tickets.

    Standby Tickets

    • 4

If available, standby tickets for "SNL" are distributed at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the tapings.

    • 5

Arrive well before 7 a.m. and plan to remain in line at all times.

    • 6

You can choose to attend either the 8 p.m. dress rehearsal or the 11:30 p.m. taping of the live show.
