How to Find Information About the Original Series of Star Trek Shown in the Late 1960's

Created by Gene Roddenberry, the original Star Trek television series first aired on Sept. 8, 1966 and continued until the final episode on June 3, 1969. (See Reference 1 & Reference 3) Star Trek's 80 episodes chronicled the space travels of the U.S.S Enterprise and her crew, which included Captain James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. Leonard McCoy. Even though only 80 episodes were made, the series has remained popular and spawned a Star Trek franchise, which includes more television series and movies. The information available regarding the original series from the 1960s can be found both online and in-person at Star Trek events.
