In the "Star Trek: Enterprise" Season 1 episode "Broken Bow," for example, Vulcans are mentioned to live upwards of 200 years. However, in another "Star Trek Enterprise" episode, "Similitude," it is mentioned that at one point Vulcans only had an average lifespan of 40 years.
