How do you unlocked the radio in a 2002 Ford Escape?

For a 2002 Ford Escape. The radio code should be on a small card the size of a credit card.

1. Turn the key to the on position (II) in the ignition.

- Do not start the engine

2. Press number “1” or “6” preset button on the radio until you hear a single beep.

3. Press the 2, 3, 4, 5 preset numbers to enter the unlock code.

- There will be a beep sound after entering each digit

4. Press preset button “1" or “6” again

5. Radio should now be unlocked
