How to Receive DirectTV on Your PC

Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of your HD DVR device, then plug the other end into your wireless router.

Press "Menu" on your TV remote and select "Parental, Fav's & Setup."

Select "System Setup," "Network Setup" and then "Connect Now".

When the connection has been completed, select "Continue" and then "Done" to complete the connection process. The HD DVR is now connected to your Internet.

Download the free DIRECTV2PC application from DirecTV's website onto your PC, which allows it to play DirecTV programs on your PC.
