Post Offices no longer offer the feature of being able to pay your TV Licences at their locations. You must now go to your nearest Pay Point Outlet and paying for your licence there.
Find a Pay Point Outlet by asking your neighborhood food and wine shop if you can pay there. You can also visit a pay point locator website and enter your post code to find out which shops near you offer the Pay Point for your TV Licence.
Pay by direct debit or credit card. Either way, you can have your account automatically debited for a monthly, quarterly or yearly amount. When you renew your TV licence, you can renew your payment options as well.
Use the TV Licensing Savings card. This card works by having you save a little bit of money over a few months and having that savings applied to the cost of your next Licence. If you have saved enough over the year to pay for your entire licence, a TV licence will automatically be mailed to you.
The licensing savings card works like this: If you pay £10.00 on your card, you will be given a receipt for proof of purchase. That £10.00 is applied to your "savings" account for payment of your licence. Keep adding money on to the card when you have some extra cash and pretty soon, you can pay off the cost of your next T.V. Licence.
Paying by cheque and cash easy card are relatively simple as well. You can send your cheques to TV Licensing or take your cheque to any Pay Point outlet. Refer to the website in the resources section so that you'll know where to mail your cheque.
Cash easy card: You can spread the cost of your TV Licence over the course of weekly or bi-weekly payments and can be paid at any Pay Point outlet. How much you pay may be subject to change over time, however having a weekly or bi-weekly payment option will allow you to stay on top of paying for your TV Licence.
