Why is you tube called youtube?

YouTube got its name from the fact that "you" can "tube" (watch a video) from almost any corner of the globe. The video-sharing website was launched on February 14, 2005, and the rest, as they say, is history. Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim founded YouTube.
