Wet the tips of your flogger with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol. Use a small amount, don't soak the fibers.
Hold the flogger by the handle. Use a good, firm grip.
Light the ends of the flogger with a candle or lighter. Be aware of your hair, clothing and surroundings. You don't want anything catching on fire; except the flogger of course. All flammable items should be moved out of the area before using your flogger. The ideal area for flogging is outside in an open area.
Hold the flogger at arm's length, away from your body. Start making circles and spirals around your body. If you have two floggers, alternate them or spin them in the same direction.
Spin the flogger in small circles fast to extinguish the flame or dip the tips in a bucket of water, when you are done with your fire play. Make sure the flame is completely out -- before you put the flogger away.
Ring out any excess alcohol from the tips before storing your flogger. Store your flogger in a flogger bag. This keeps it clean and untangled.
