How to Sign Up for a Disney Channel Audition

The Disney Channel does not post auditions on their website. The only casting calls posted online are for theme park shows and attractions. If you are lucky enough to find a casting call for a new Disney Channel show, you will have to sit in a room for hours waiting for your turn to be seen for 30 seconds. In addition, the Disney Channel does not cast recurring roles from cattle calls. The best way to land an audition with the Disney Channel is through proper representation.

Take a professional head shot and build your acting resume. A professional head shot is in full color and shows your face from the chest up. Find an excellent photographer or a family friend with an SLR camera and take hundreds of pictures in three different outfits. You will choose one picture out of the hundreds to use as your head shot. Attach your acting resume to the back of the head shot with staples.

Find an agent. A proper agent will not ask for any fees upfront, but will take between 10 to 15 percent of all gigs you book. Send your head shot and resume to all the agents in your metro area. Follow up with a phone call after two weeks. Eventually you will find an agent that will represent your talent.

Follow industry news on the Disney Channel's new shows. Your best chance to sign up for a Disney Channel audition is through a pilot. Pilot season is typically from January to early May.

Alert your agent to the pilots that you are interested in, and have your agent contact the casting office. Follow up with your agent in two weeks to find out if you have an audition.
