Find out the location closest to your home town where Disney is holding auditions. Listings are posted and updated on Disney's Corporate page listed in the Resource section below.
Prepare a resume and head shot. Keep the resume to one page in length. List all relevant training and performance experience. The head shot needs to be a good 8" x 10" photograph that represents what you currently look like. Staple the head shot to the back of the resume. Make sure the picture is visible.
Prepare audition materials if you are a singer, actor or musician. Singers need to bring their own sheet music in the correct key and prepare 16 bars of two contrasting songs to sing. Dancers should wear form-fitting dance attire and bring jazz and ballet shoes and character heels. Actors must prepare a one-minute comic monologue. Musicians need to prepare three short pieces that demonstrate technical, lyrical and improvisational skill and bring their own instruments to the audition.
Practice showmanship. Disney looks beyond technical skill to find people who display a character clearly.
Arrive early at the audition to register and do warm-ups beforehand. Leave enough time to account for traffic. Showing up late for an audition is rude and often you lose out on your chance.
