The Cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Debuting in 2006 on Bravo with the first installment, "The Real Housewives of Orange County," "The Real Housewives of..." series returned to another renowned area of affluence in Southern California, Beverly Hills, for the fifth season, which aired from 2010-2011. With "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," the series received some of its highest ratings (the finale, in particular, was the most watched episode of the entire series), as well as a reinvigorated interest in the show in the wake of Camille Grammer's divorce from Kesley Grammer.
  1. Camille Grammer

    • Camille's primary claim to fame on the show is as the wife of "Frasier" and "Cheers" star Kelsey Grammer (the couple has since divorced). Camille's rapport with the other cast members is generally contentious; one of the recurring story lines on the show is the fact that Camille would not be where she is without her marriage to Kelsey (a feud between Camille and Kyle that began when the group went to see Kelsey Grammer star in the opening of "La Cage Aux Folles" in New York).

    Adrienne Maloof

    • Adrienne Maloof's source of wealth comes from ownership of Palms on The Strip in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings basketball team. The Maloof empire also includes the most prestigious skateboard competition, the Maloof Money Cup. On "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Adrienne tends to side with Kyle in the unspoken rivalry between her and Camille.

    Kim Richards

    • Perhaps the most obvious choice for the show's comic relief, Kim Richards' love of alcohol often lightened the mood of most fights. Though, by the same token, it was also a catalyst for those fights. As a former child star (Richards appeared in such shows as "CHiPs," "Magnum, P.I.," "The Love Boat," and "Diff'rent Strokes") and the sister of Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton (the mother of Paris and Nicky Hilton), Kim often exhibits signs of emotional baggage that go hand in hand with the sibling rivalry of two famous sisters in the same line of work.

    Kyle Richards

    • Kyle Richards, like her sister, also appeared in movies and TV shows in her younger years, including "Halloween," "The Watcher in the Woods," "Fantasy Island," and "CHiPs." For the most part, the conflict on the show stems from Kyle and Camille's intense dislike of one another. When asked by E! who she experienced the most conflict with on the show, Kyle responded diplomatically, "Camille and I didn't mix well."

    Lisa Vanderpump

    • Vanderpump is a British restaurateur who stole many scenes on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" via her devoted attachment to her dog Jiggy (short for Gigolo). Vanderpump also designs clothes and is working on a line of skin care products. Two of her 26 restaurants are in Beverly Hills; SUR and Villa Blanca.

    Taylor Armstrong

    • Armstrong is, overall, the least prominent star on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Her infamy came in the wake of the show, when Armstrong was accused of being caught in a web of lies regarding the surgeries she has had, the length of time she has known Adrienne Maloof, and her husband being investigated by the IRS.
