How to Watch Recent Releases on Netflix

Netflix is constantly updated with new titles. As new movies are released each week, they are added to Netflix's online and hard copy inventory. Depending on how you would like to watch a recent release, there are a couple of methods available if you are a Netflix subscriber. You may also have to deal with the production company's agreement with Netflix, which prevents the instant streaming of some titles.

      Log into your Netflix account.

      Select "Watch Instantly" on the top navigation bar.

      Click "New Arrivals" to view a list of recent releases available for instant streaming. If your title is not available for instant streaming, click "Browse DVDs" and hit "New Releases" for a list of new DVD titles.

      Click "Play" to start the instant stream, or "Add" if the film is only available on DVD. You can then click "Move to Position #1" to make that DVD the next one sent out by Netflix.
