Beautiful Indian Movies and Songs

There are thousands of Indian movies and songs, but not all reach the same level of popularity or receive awards. Of course, it is in part personal chocie and interpretation, but a beautiful movie or song needs to have well-placed emotion, spectacular scenery or lyrics, and a great set of musical ideas and talented performers. Sometimes a great song is featured in a beautiful Indian film.
  1. Elegant Epics with Beautiful Songs

    • An Indian song in Telugu (the language spoken in the state of Andhra Pradesh), "Appudo Ippudo Eppudo" is a romantic love song. The song features in the 1996 movie "Bommarillu," translated as "A Dollhouse," and is sung by the actor Siddharth, a well-known star of Indian cinema. The film is often reviewed with high scores and has been described as having characters that are charming, elegant and angelic, according to the website Idle Brain.

      "Hum Tumhe Chaahte Hain" is considered by some to be the best Indian song of all time, as explained by Made Man. The song is from the 1980 film, "Qurbani" and translates as "sacrifice."       "Main Aur Mrs Khanna" is another example. It boasts a star-studded cast including Salman Khan.
