Jean Harlow was one of the most famous actresses of the Silent Film Era and was given the nickname "the Baby." She starred in many films in her day, including the Howard Hughes World War I film, "Hell's Angels." She died tragically of cerebral edema and uremic poisoning on June 7, 1937 at the age of 26.

      Know that there are three crypts located in this private marble room, one holding the remains of Jean Harlow, which is inscribed with the words "Our Baby", the other holding the remains of her mother, Jean Harlow Carpenter Bello, who died 21 years later, to the day, of her daughter's death. The final of the three crypts is empty. Many people think that this third crypt was to be the final resting place of Jean Harlow's fiancé, William Powell. However, his remains lie in Palm Springs.
