Instructions

    • 1

Choose snacks to bring to the movie theater based on personal preference and the size of the package. Individual-size bags of candy, wrapped candy bars, and small chip or cookie packs are ideal. There is no way to hide a full-size bag of chips or an entire pizza and sneak it into a movie theater.

    • 2

Wear clothing that can hide food easily. Baggy clothing is better than tight clothing. Layers can also help conceal bags and packets of snacks. Cargo pants are exceptionally good at helping to sneak food into movie theaters, as they have multiple large pockets. Jackets or sweaters can help hide food packages, as well.

    • 3

Tuck snack packages and bags into pockets of pants and shirts. Slip wrapped food into the waistband of your pants or skirt. Girls can even hide a few small things in their bra. Do not do this with chocolate, as it will melt before you have a chance to enjoy it. Be sure there are no suspicious bulges under your clothes. Do not make it obvious that you are carrying something.

    • 4

Carry a bag into the movie theater. While some theaters do not allow handbags or purses in the movies, most do. Take advantage of this by choosing the largest purse you have and stocking it with food and snacks for your whole group. If purses are not allowed, consider using a fanny pack bag concealed under a voluminous shirt or jacket.

    • 5

Act naturally when entering the movie theater. If you act as if you are hiding something and keep clutching at an odd bump in your pocket, movie theater personnel may assume the worst and call security or the police.

    • 6

Remove the food from its hiding places only when you are in your seat in the darkened movie theater. Many theaters no longer have ushers on the look-out for contraband, but some may have security in place. Do not make a big show of pulling the chips out of your pocket, and keep the rustling noises to a minimum. You have now learned how to successfully sneak food into a movie theater.
