HOW TO GET A REDBOX MEMBERSHIP
In order to use Redbox you need to sign up for membership. It's easy & it's free! There are no monthly charges, no application fees and no cost to you other than the video rental fee of $1 - plus tax.
To sign up for membership go to the Redbox website (see the easy link in the resources!). Click on "Create an Account" and answer the questions!
HOW TO FIND A REDBOX LOCATION
You may have seen the Redbox at Walmart or your local supermarket. If you haven't seen one it's easy to find a location near you. Go to the Redbox website and click on "Find a Redbox" - put in your zip code or address and it will bring up the results for your nearest Redbox.
HOW TO RENT A VIDEO
Now that you are all set to rent your video - go to your Redbox. It's pretty simple really, just follow the on-screen instructions for renting a video. Basically you just pick the movie you want to rent, add it to your cart and then checkout. You will need to swipe a valid credit card and then the video will be dispensed to you.
HOW TO RESERVE A VIDEO ONLINE
If you want to make sure the video you want is at the Redbox when you get there, you can reserve it online. Again, just go to the Redbox website and click on "Reserve Online". Browse the movie selections and follow the instructions for reserving it.
HOW TO RETURN A VIDEO
When you are done with your video take it to ANY Redbox location to return it. You do NOT have to return it at the same place you rented it. At the Redbox, hit the "Return DVD" button and then follow the instructions for properly inserting the video.
HOW TO FIND CODES FOR FREE MOVIES
You can Google "Free Redbox Codes" or something similar to get free codes for Redbox rentals. Some of the many listed are for real, some are invalid. It's always worth a try though to get a free rental!
To participate in "Free Movie Mondays" sign up for the SMS alerts and Redbox will send you a free rental code every Monday. (You need to give them your cell phone number when you sign up - and the codes are sent to you via text message every Monday).
HOW TO USE A CODE FOR A FREE MOVIE
To use a Redbox code just press the Redbox button that says "Rent with a Code" and then enter the code when prompted.
