How to Return Netflix Movies

Netflix is an online movie rental company that sends requested movie titles on DVD to customers via the United States Postal Service. According to Netlfix, its movie rental service sets it apart from competitors, thanks to the convenience of returning the rented DVDs when the customer chooses without charging late fees. Netflix provides a postage-paid self-addressed envelope for each movie return, facilitating the use of its service. Because customers return the DVDs by mail, Netflix has removed the hassle of driving to a drop-off location to return rented movies.

Instructions

    • 1
The bar code on the white sleeve has information regarding your Netflix rental.

Find the white sleeve from the Netflix packet containing the DVD. Each DVD will arrive in the mail inside a white sleeve, and a red envelope to be retained for returning the DVD to Nexflix. The white sleeve contains detailed movie information, including the movie title and a bar code. The red envelope has a printed return label and postage for returns. Put the DVD into the sleeve with the title side and the label on the sleeve both facing up.

    • 2
Netlfix pays postage on all of its DVD returns using the provided red envelope.

Place the sleeve in the postage paid red envelope provided by Netflix. Remove the extra flap of paper attached to the outside fold of the envelope along the perforated line. Detach the strip of paper covering the sticky tape and fold the sticky side over to seal the envelope.

The Netflix Shipping Facility closest to your location will receive your returned DVDs.

Take the sealed envelope and put it in the mailbox. Raise the mailbox flag. If you do not have a mail box, drive to a United States Post Office or blue roadside USPS mail receptacle and mail the envelope by placing it in the slot as indicated.
