The Cinemark theater is a large cinema that offers excellent facilities and the latest in extreme digital (XD) presentation. As well as presentations of movies, the cinema offers special screenings of events from across the arts world, including (as of 2011) productions by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera. The 5 Points describes itself as a "community theater," and most of its presentations are art house movies and documentaries that are tailored to the local population.
