According to the website, the Grand Cinema is dedicated to “enriching lives and enhancing the cultural vitality of the community through the art of film.” The Grand offers free family movies on the third Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. In addition, the Grand throws a yearly Academy Awards dinner and party and an annual 72-hour film festival featuring local filmmakers competing in a challenge to write, shoot and edit a short film in three days. The Grand is also available to rent for corporate functions and private parties.
The Regal Lakewood Cinema 15 features RealD 3D technology on two of its 15 screens. Open captioned screenings and descriptive audio listening devices are available as is online ticketing.
