Beacon Theatres is west of Brooksville, approximately 30 miles south of Inverness. The theater showcases 3-D releases and all 10 auditoriums have stadium seating. As of February 2011, adult evening tickets cost $8.50. The 3-D shows cost another $3. Wendy's, Texas Roadhouse, and Carrabba's Italian Grill are within walking distance of the theater.
The Regal Hollywood 16 is approximately 24 miles northeast of Inverness next to the Paddock Mall in Ocala, Florida. The theater is equipped with Real 3-D technology and auditoriums have stadium seating. In 2011, tickets were $8 for matinees and $9.75 for evening shows, with a $3.50 surcharge applied to 3-D films. As part of the Regal chain, the Hollywood 16, the Citrus Cinemas and the Crystal River Mall participate in the Regal Crown Club promotion. It rewards frequent visitors with points they can apply to free popcorn and movies. The theater is a short walk from the Easy Street Family Fun Center, which features go-karts, batting cages, an arcade, and miniature golf.
