The Regal Hollywood 18 is off U.S. Route 19, approximately four miles south of Hudson, in Port Richey, Fla. Featuring digital sound and Real 3-D technology, patrons with Regal Crown Club membership can purchase candy for $2 every Monday and popcorn for $3 every Tuesday with paid admission. As of February 2011, regular adult tickets were $9, and $12.50 for 3-D shows.
The Cinema 6 in Port Richey is about a 10-minute drive south of Hudson. Remodeled in 2009, the theater is within walking distance of the Gulf View Square Mall and features first-run films, second-run films at discount prices, and a cafeteria-style concession area. While most seating in the six theaters have conventional seating, the upper half of each auditorium has seating and tables or counters for patrons enjoying a meal with their movie.
Approximately 10 miles north of Hudson is the Spring Hill 8 Touchstar Cinemas. It is the only major movie theater in Spring Hill, and is within walking distance of Pizza Hut, Chili's Grill and Bar, Cody's Original Roadhouse and the Greek City Cafe. The cinema features Digital Light Projection (DLP), digital sound and 3-D projection technology. Adult tickets were $4.00 for evening shows in February 2011. Foreign films, art pictures and 3-D films are priced slightly higher.
Beacon Theatres is west of Brooksville, about 17 miles northeast of Hudson. The theater features 3-D releases and its 10 auditoriums have stadium seating. As of February 2011, adult evening tickets cost $8.50, with 3-D shows costing an additional $3. Wendy's, Texas Roadhouse, and Carrabba's Italian Grill are within walking distance of the theater.
