Aa! Megami-sama tells the story of Keiichi, a college student who accidentally summons a goddess named Belldandy to his small apartment. Belldandy says that she will grant him a wish, and in response he blurts out that his wish is for her to stay with him forever. There are elements of romance and comedy as the story of Belldandy and Keiichi's relationship unfolds. The original series is only five episodes long, but there is also a longer television series.
In Da Capo, a high school student named Junichi lives with his adoptive sister, Nemu, in a town where cherry blossoms bloom all year long. Junichi is popular with many of the girls in the town, and drama ensues as you watch the various relationships develop between the characters. Viewers also watch events from Junichi's past, which involve a mysterious girl he once knew. This anime series contains elements of romance, comedy and fantasy.
The main charcater in this series, Tohru, lives alone in a tent following the death of her mother. Tohru is offered a place to stay by the mysterious Sohma family. A love triangle unfolds when Tohru develops feelings for two members of the Sohma family, whom she later discovers are cursed members of the Zodiac who transform into animals when hugged by a member of the opposite sex.
In Kanon, a boy named Yuichi returns to the city he grew up in after a seven year absence. He remembers very little about his past, although he has friends in the town who seem to remember a lot about him. Mystery, comedy, and romance unfold as Yuichi discovers the truth about what happened to him seven years ago.
Kagome is a girl who has mysteriously transported back in time to feudal China. She is confronted by a half-demon boy named InuYasha, who mistakes her for the woman who pierced him with an enchanted arrow many years ago. The pair go on adventures together in an effort to gather the broken and scattered shards of a mysterious gemstone.
