Instructions

    • 1

Sign up for an online account to make live animation. Two common services available include Moviestorm and Xtranormal. To get started, click the "Sign Up" link located at the top of the page. You'll be instantly prompted to fill in some necessary details such as your name, a username, valid email address and a password. Within a few minutes of registering, you'll receive a confirmation email to officially activate the account.

    • 2

Log into your online account to begin making live animation movies. During the initial building stage, choose a set in which to place your characters. The sets are usually various places located within a home, park, office and other areas.

    • 3

Click onto each displayed location to get a better view of the way it will look. Customize your chosen surroundings with different items such as lamps, lighting, wallpaper, pictures and benches. If you're not happy with an added component, select the item and remove it from the scene.

    • 4

Add one or two characters to your live animation movie. Change the way characters look by swapping hairstyles, skin tone or eye color. Enhance them even further by adding jewelry and other accessories that will make them stand out. As you make changes, you'll also be able to preview these new changes before finalizing them.

    • 5

Choose the type of actions you'd like the live animation characters to perform. Make them sing or play musical instruments in front of a crowd. Simple actions like dancing, running or jumping can give your characters human-like qualities. Directing their actions will also give you more control over the overall look of your live animation.

    • 6

Create dialogue that your live animation characters can speak. If you have more than one character in your movie, write an entire script to give your character a more complex story line. Depending on the type of features included in your live animation service, you'll have the chance to record your own voice instead of choosing a default one from the application.

    • 7

Save the movie onto your computer's hard drive and make changes to it at a later time if you'd like. Once you've finished, consider publishing the live animation movie on your own personal website or another popular media website such as YouTube. Visitors can view the live animation movie that you've created and even make comments about it.
