Instructions

    • 1

Download the images you want to use in your music montage to a specific folder on your computer's hard drive.

    • 2

Invest in a film editing program. Many high-quality programs are available on the Internet free of charge.

    • 3

Load the film editing program. Under the "File" menu, click the "Import Media" option. Select the folder on your computer's hard drive into which you downloaded the photos from your camera that you would like to use for the video.

    • 4

Click and drag the photographs from the film program's preview window into the timeline at the bottom of the screen. Arrange the photographs in the order in which you'd like them to appear in the montage.

    • 5

Insert the compact disc of the song you'd like to use as the photo montage's soundtrack. Click the "Import Media" option again in the File menu and import the song from the compact disc. The film editing program will extract the song and display it in the program's preview window.

    • 6

Click and drag the file containing the song into the timeline at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can maneuver the song in the timeline left or right in order to best synchronize it with your photograph montage.

    • 7

Insert a blank DVD into your DVD burner. Look for the "Export" option in one of the film editing program's menus and burn your project to DVD.
