The Saturdays rose to fame after appearing on the ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2007, where they finished in second place. Their debut single, "Chasing Lights", was released in October 2007 and peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Their debut album, "Chasing Lights", was released in November 2007 and debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart.
The Saturdays have released a total of four studio albums and two compilation albums. Their second album, "Wordshaker", was released in October 2009 and reached number five on the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, "On Your Radar", was released in November 2011 and peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart. Their fourth studio album, "Living for the Weekend", was released in October 2013 and debuted at number ten on the UK Albums Chart.
The Saturdays have also released numerous singles, including "Up", "Issues", "Ego", "What About Us", and "All Fired Up". The group has won numerous awards, including two UK Music Video Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, and a British Single Award.
The Saturdays is still going strong in 2023. Although they haven't officially had any plans after completing work on Living For The Weekend, the members stated that they aren't ruling out a reunion in the future and are still open to making more music together.
