How did Tinker Bell meet Peter Pan?
In the original 1911 play *Peter and Wendy* by J.M. Barrie, Tinker Bell meets Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, outside of London, England. Tinker Bell is drawn to the sound of a child crying and finds Peter, who has fallen out of his pram and become lost. Peter is instantly smitten by Tinker Bell's beauty and offers her a kiss, which she initially refuses, though she eventually relents. Peter then takes Tinker Bell to his home in the Neverland, where she quickly becomes a close companion and friend.
