How did Deadpool get his powers?

In the Marvel Comics Universe, Deadpool's powers are a result of a series of experiments conducted on him by the Weapon X program. The Weapon X program was a Canadian government initiative that aimed to create super-soldiers by augmenting humans with various enhancements.

Wade Wilson, the man who would later become Deadpool, was recruited by the Weapon X program after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. In order to save his life, Wade underwent the experimental procedure known as the "Weapon X Program."

During the procedure, Wade's cellular structure was altered, granting him various superhuman abilities. These abilities include:

- Regenerative Healing Factor: Wade can rapidly regenerate damaged tissues and organs, allowing him to heal from injuries that would be fatal to ordinary humans.

- Enhanced Strength, Agility, and Durability: Wade possesses superhuman strength, agility, and durability. He is capable of lifting heavy weights, moving at incredible speeds, and withstanding powerful attacks.

- Advanced Martial Arts Skills: Wade is an expert in various forms of hand-to-hand combat, making him a formidable opponent.

- Weapon Proficiency: Wade is skilled in using a wide range of weapons, including swords, guns, and his signature katanas.

- Mental Instability and Fourth Wall Awareness: Wade's regenerative healing factor also affected his mental state, causing him to develop a form of mental instability. He frequently displays an erratic and unpredictable personality, and he is known for breaking the fourth wall by directly addressing the readers or acknowledging that he is a fictional character.

In the comics, Deadpool's powers are often portrayed as both a blessing and a curse. While they grant him incredible abilities, they also contribute to his unstable mental state and make it difficult for him to maintain relationships or live a normal life.
