How do you remove a whammy bar?

1. Loosen the strings. This will make it easier to remove the whammy bar.

2. Locate the whammy bar nut. It is usually located on the back of the bridge, near the base of the whammy bar.

3. Unscrew the whammy bar nut. This can be done by hand or with a wrench.
