1. Unplug the mixer. Before you begin any disassembly, make sure that the mixer is unplugged from the power source.
2. Remove the screws from the bottom of the mixer. There should be four screws located on the bottom of the mixer; remove these screws using a screwdriver.
3. Lift up the motor housing. Once the screws have been removed, carefully lift up the motor housing; it should come off easily.
4. Remove the old drive shaft. The drive shaft is located inside the motor housing; you can remove it by pulling it out.
5. Clean the motor housing and the old drive shaft. Clean both the motor housing and the old drive shaft to remove any dirt or debris.
6. Install the new drive shaft. Insert the new drive shaft into the motor housing; make sure that the shaft is properly seated.
7. Replace the motor housing. Carefully place the motor housing back onto the mixer; the screws should go easily.
8. Replace the screws. Replace the four screws on the bottom of the mixer to secure the motor housing in place.
* Test the mixer. Once you have reassembled the mixer, test it to make sure that it is working properly by plugging it in and turning it on and off; it should work without any issues.
