What is a recipe for cabbage soup?

Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

- 1 small onion, diced

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped

- 4 carrots, chopped

- 2 stalks of celery, chopped

- 2 cups of vegetable or chicken broth

- 1 cup of water

- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the cabbage, carrots, and celery and cook until the vegetables are slightly softened, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the broth, water, thyme, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.

5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Serve hot and enjoy!
