Why are Buddhists not allowed to dance or listen music?

Buddhists are allowed to dance and enjoy music. There is no such rule or commandment in Buddhism that prohibits dancing or music. In fact, many Southeast Asian Buddhist traditions include dance as part of their sacred rituals and ceremonies.
