At one time, the inner harbor was a port of entry for many immigrants to the United States. Harborplace has since made a home there, featuring a variety of shops, entertainment, restaurants and the National Aquarium of Baltimore. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, the Baltimore Ducks, the American Visionary Art Museum, the World Trade Center Institute and the Port Discovery Children's Museum. The city is also home to a wide variety of dance clubs and nightlife.
