Manhattan Dance Clubs

People seeking a place to dance the night away in New York City need to look no further than Manhattan to find truly remarkable dance clubs that rank with the best in the country. These hot spots regularly pack in capacity crowds and are filled with enough energy to keep you moving until the wee hours. Regardless of your taste in dance music, there is something available for clubbers of all types in the Big Apple.
  1. Pacha

    • Pacha is a dance club located in the Hells Kitchen section of Manhattan on West 46th Street. This newcomer to the Manhattan dance club scene claims to be one of the foremost nightlife destinations on the globe. It is a 30,000-square-foot building spread out over five levels, with each floor unique in its own style and decor.

The lowest level, known as The Basement, is home to the coat check facility as well as a gift shop and restrooms. The main room is on the second level. Its wide-open dance floor can hold up to 1,200 people at capacity and contains a full bar, a winding staircase, a DJ booth and fashion-style runways.

The mezzanine is located on the third floor, where the most popular tables in the house line the edges of the balcony and provide a view of the dance floor below. Often this area is reserved for celebrity seating.

The Funky Room is on the fourth level. This floor is a lounge area that features shower booths where bikini-clad girls dance in showers tableside. The top level, known as “Little Pacha” is an attic hideaway that holds up to 400 people who can dance, lounge and enjoy a sound system independent of the rest of the facility.
