Become acquainted with expert techniques from instructors at the Juilliard School this summer. If you have at least an intermediate understanding of dance, sign up for this summer intensive course to learn more about modern dance and ballet. The program is for high school students interested in improving their skills with hard work. They might find that Juilliard is the right school for them to continue dance training throughout their college education. Another benefit to the program is that students come from all over the world to train, which means you can get a multi-cultural experience without leaving the states.

Take a plunge into the entertainment and film capitol, Los Angeles, with a summer program at the Westside School of Ballet. The program is for students of all ages from young children to adults. Girls and boys are welcome to sign up and will find other dancers interested in pursuing professional dance careers. While young children focus on different types of dance, teenagers get a better idea of what classical ballet expects of a trained dancer. Adults also learn specifically about classical ballet with training in flexibility and pointe.
