Gay Clubs in Manhattan, New York City

Manhattan, one of the five boroughs of New York City, is home to a well-established homosexual community. There are a number of clubs throughout Manhattan that cater to gay people. Many of these clubs have no cover fee and feature live entertainment nightly as well as various drink specials throughout the week.

  1. Boots & Saddle

    • Boots & Saddle is located in the center of Greenwich Village in New York City. This gay club is open seven days a week from noon to 4 a.m. Every night, Boots & Saddle offers a special featured event, such as karaoke, comedy nights, 80s dance party, and drag acts. Its bar features a number of beers on tap and in bottles, plus cosmos, martinis, mixed drinks and flavored vodkas. Boots & Saddle also offers a happy hour from noon to 8 p.m. every day. It includes $3 well drinks and bottled beers.

    9th Avenue Saloon

    • The 9th Avenue Saloon has been a gay club in Manhattan for about 30 years. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. The saloon features an Internet jukebox, photo booth and a popcorn machine. The saloon welcomes local artists to display their work on the walls. There is also karaoke every Wednesday night from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The bar serves imported and domestic draft years. During the weekdays, the 9th Avenue Saloon offers reduced-priced drinks as part of its happy hour special.

    VLADA Lounge

    • VLADA Lounge is a Russian-themed gay club in Manhattan. It has two stories, with live entertainment every night on the upstairs level. The VLADA Lounge is known for its infused vodka drinks. According to the club’s website, it serves 16 different types of infused vodkas, such as cranberry, apple-cinnamon and horseradish. There is a happy hour special, where patrons can buy “two for one” drinks from 4 to 8 p.m. every day. VLADA Lounge also has a full dinner and light snacks menu.

    No Parking

    • No Parking features different events for patrons throughout the week. On Tuesdays, people can participate in “Wii Nite” where there is free game playing all night long. On Saturdays, patrons can dance the night away with the live DJ. Happy hour is offered 6 to 10 p.m. nightly. No Parking is closed on Mondays, and is open Tuesday through Sunday.
