Sometimes the rhythm of a Dancehall song is fast while on others it can be mid-tempo. However what remains constant is that the art of Dancehall dancing has many sexual connotations, so you need to let go of any inhibitions you may have.
The "Bogle" is perhaps one of the most popular Dancehall moves; Point your hands upward while alternating them (somewhat like you're shooting a gun) in a steady motion while moving your body from side to side, similar to the way a snake would move.
The "Dutty Wine" (meaning "dirty wind") is most popular among women. To do this dance, strike stance, standing or kneeling on the floor while shaking your head energetically in a circular motion while at the same time rotating your buttocks and winding your hips.
A similar, newer version of this dance is the "Beyonce Wine." Inspired by the pop star of the same name, it's done by standing in one position and rotating the buttocks while giving as much attitude as the performer herself.
To do the "Heel-Toe," do a small jump off the ground, landing with your right foot straight in front of your left foot. One foot should land on the heel while the other foot should land on the toe. Rotate in a circle with your arms and upper body keeping the rhythm of the beat.
