Divide your dance class into groups of two and give each pair a balloon. Have each pair balance a balloon between their stomachs or forehead. Turn on music and have each twosome balance their balloons while dancing to the music. A pair is eliminated if they drop or pop their balloon. Alternate music while this game is going on. Switch up the tempo and genres. You can even hand out specific dances for each pair to do. The last pair standing wins the game. Advanced dance classes can use two balloons per pair.
You will need a large room so each pair has a sufficient dancing space. Inflate various colored balloons and make sure each balloon is roughly the same size. You will also need a large catalog of music for students to dance to.
You will need an instructor or student to monitor the music. Turn on some music and instruct every student to dance. You can even assign individual dances to each student or students can select their own dances. Stop the music every minute or so. When the music stops, everyone should stop dancing. Anyone who is still dancing once the music stops is out of the game. The last person standing is the winner.
All you need is a large room and a computer you can play music on. You'll probably want to switch up the type of music you play during the game, so make sure you have a wide variety of music to play for students.
