Instructions

    • 1

Prepare for breakdancing air freeze moves by doing exercises to gain endurance and build arm strength. Work with free weights. Do pull-ups and push-ups.

    • 2

Practice simple handstands. At first, practice with your hands a few inches from a sturdy wall. One you're comfortable with your balance, practice handstands on a floor mat, preferably with someone to spot you.

    • 3

Begin with simple air freezes. Get in a handstand, and then touch your knee with your hand. Continue practicing this until you can hold or freeze the position for a few seconds.

Try different moves from your handstand position. Once in a handstand, touch your foot with your hand. Practice until you can freeze that position and then work on adding a twist to your move. After you've held your freeze, try twisting your body around as you bring your feet back to the ground.

Continue to work on air freezes by adding as many moves as you can create. Remember, you must hold your air freeze for a few seconds for full impact.
