Who are gothic poets?
The term Gothic poets encompasses those who wrote under the literary influence known as Gothicticism from around the sixteenth to early twentieth centuries. This group includes several of Romanticism's pioneers from the eighteenth century and, while the term 'Gothic' was often synonymous with Romanticism in some areas it can apply as an alternate category.
