St regis poem contains so mote it be why masons end meetings in do you know the poem?

"St. Regis Poem" by Rudyard Kipling

As the last light fades in the Western skies,

And the day's turmoil sinks in quiet rest,

We come to Thee, the Source of all that lies,

Within our hearts, as darkness takes full crest.

A band of seekers, gathered in accord,

Our minds united by Thy guiding thread,

We bring our thoughts to lay before the Lord,

In humble supplication, bowed our head.

And as the night enfolds us in her cloak,

We feel Thy presence, all around, within,

A peace descends, like gentle wind's soft stroke,

Thy love, a beacon in the deepest din.

So mote it be, the Mason's plea sincere,

A prayer that resonates through time's wide stretch,

May Thy good will and blessings draw near,

And guide us always in Thy holy etch.

In unity and love, we seek Thy grace,

With every thought, with every uttered word,

Grant us the strength to bear the world's embrace,

And let Thy Light forevermore be stirred.

As the meeting closes, we depart Thy shrine,

With gratitude and hearts filled with delight,

We carry Thy love, a flame that will entwine,

Our souls forever in celestial flight.

And as we rise to greet the newborn dawn,

We carry with us Thy eternal spark,

A ray of hope, that shall never be withdrawn,

In every challenge, we shall find its mark.

So mote it be, our Mason's pledge to Thee,

To walk the path of life with truth and care,

In unity, we shall forever be,

And spread Thy love, the world to truly share.

Now, let the darkness turn to light divine,

As we return to our respective ways,

May Thy presence ever with us intertwine,

And fill our hearts with everlasting grace.
