How to Make a Band's Set List on a Computer

A set list is a list of songs that a band intends to play during a concert. Fans also refer to a set list as a list of songs that a band might play---for example, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's set list for the "London Calling: Live in Hyde Park" concert spanned from 'Born To Run' era to 'Working On a Dream' and everything in between. You can put together a band's set list on your computer with a word processor.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine what songs your band is going to play. For example, Bruce Springstein might choose the top 3 songs from each of his albums to play at a concert.

    • 2

Add the times of all the songs together to make sure they will fit into the time slot you have to play. If there are too many, remove some. Bruce might decide that since he's a few minutes over the two hours he's going to play, he'll take off "Working on a Dream" to make room for the rest.

    • 3

Type the name of each song on its own line in a word processor. When you're done, you'll have a set list that you can post for fans at the concert.
