He has written two novels in the series:
* Trigger Mortis (2015) - This novel was commissioned by Ian Fleming's estate to be a continuation of Fleming's original works.
* With a Mind to Kill (2022) - This novel is set in the 1950s and was commissioned by Ian Fleming's estate.
Horowitz also adapted The Casino Royale novel into a screenplay for the 2006 film.
It's worth noting that while Ian Fleming created James Bond, he is not the only author to write about the iconic spy. Several authors have taken on the mantle after Fleming's death, including:
