Step 1: Pair the Remote with Your TV
Plug the Harmony 510 transmitter into an available HDMI port on your TV. Ensure the transmitter is securely plugged in and the lights on the front of the transmitter are flashing.
Turn on your TV and press the "Menu" button on your remote. The "Add Device" screen will appear. If your TV appears on the screen, select it and press "OK." If your TV does not appear, select "Other Devices" and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your remote with your TV.
Step 2: Program the Remote
Once the remote is paired, you can begin programming it. You can do this by selecting "Add Activity" on the remote and following the on-screen instructions. You will need to select the activity (e.g., "Watch TV") and then follow the prompts to program the remote to control your TV.
Step 3: Use the Remote
Once the remote is programmed, you can use it to control your TV. You can adjust the volume, change channels, and access various TV settings using the remote's buttons. You can also use the Harmony 510's touch screen to access additional features and options.
