Instructions

    • 1

Remove the cover of your typewriter with a screwdriver. Different typewriter models require either a Phillips or standard screwdriver.

    • 2

Remove the ink bobbins from the typewriter. Place them on a cloth since they will leak ink.

    • 3

Press a small screwdriver into a towel and remove all the dust, grime and dirt on the typewriter key and around it.

    • 4

Clean between keys and any other areas you couldn't reach with the screwdriver with a cotton swab.

    • 5

Use the compressed air can to blow out any loose crud that's inside the typewriter.

    • 6

Press the typewriter key and then spray graphite lubricant on it.

    • 7

Add the ink bobbins and cover back on your typewriter. Your key will no longer be jammed.
