Go to "Tools" in Windows Movie Maker, then Click "Titles And Credits." Click on "Add Title At The Beginning Of The Movie." You will see two boxes. Type in the title in the first box and then who the film is by in the second box. On the right, you'll see a preview screen and it will show up on the storyboard at the bottom of the screen. You will have the option to experiment with color and different fonts. When you're satisfied with the title, click "File" and "Save Project."
Import an image into Windows Movie Maker. Go to "File" and Click "Import Into Collections" an image you have created for your book or a copyrighted free one. Drag the image down into the storyboard after the title.
Drag the same image into the storyboard after the first image, but now open "Tools," and Click on "Video Effects." Pick out an effect and drag it onto the selected image. When you play the file you should see the first image as a still image and the second image displaying the video effects. You can click and drag an image in the storyboard to make it longer or shorter.
Click on "Tools" then "Titles And Credits." Now you are ready to add the first part of your story. Click on "Add Title After The Selected Clip In The Timeline." Then add your text.
Interchange between images and text until you are at the end of your story.
Go back to "Tools" then click "Titles And Credits" and add the end credits you wish to include. Click "Video Transitions" and select an image. Drag and drop that image between the final text or image of your story and the end credits.
