How to Work for a Magazine

Getting a job in a magazine can be tricky, but it is an attainable goal. With the use of the internet, moving to New York or Los Angeles is no longer absolutely necessary, since freelancers are able to submit their work in an email. As with any job, building up a portfolio of previous work or writing sample can help editors determine if you are what they are looking for.
